Designation Academy
The Foundation offers scholarships toward registration at the annual Designation Academy. Five designation scholarships will be awarded, one each with AARE, AMM, BAS, and CES (includes registration and two night’s lodging) as well as one for CAS (includes registration and one night lodging).  Completed scholarship applications must be received by October 15, 2017.   Download the application here.

Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI)
There will be five CAI I scholarships awarded with shared housing. There will be five CAI II scholarships awarded without housing.  Completed scholarship applications must be received by January 15, 2018.  Download the application here.

Past Scholarships

Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) – Larry McCool Scholarship
The Larry McCool Scholarship was established in 2006 and provides tuition assistance to five (5) qualified auctioneers to attend Course I  of the Certified Auctioneers Institute. The scholarship also includes shared housing accommodations for the duration of CAI I.

Potential scholarship applicants are judged on the completeness and quality of their application and their references.  Preference is given to individuals who earn 100% of their income from the auction industry and/or who work full-time in the industry.

Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) – Pat Massart Scholarship
The Pat Massart Scholarship for Leaders was established in 2006 and is awarded to recognize outstanding leadership of a CAI Course III student. It is voted each year by students in the current CAI III class.

Potential scholarship applicants are judged on the completeness and quality of their application and their references.  Preference is given to individuals who earn 100% of their income from the auction industry and/or who work full-time in the industry.

Conference and Show
Established in 2015, the National Auctioneers Foundation Conference and Show scholarships award attendees with pre conference and conference opportunities. Potential scholarship applicants are judged on the completeness and quality of their application and their references.  Preference is given to individuals who earn a majority of their income from the auction industry and/or who work full-time in the industry.

Pre-Conference: Five (5) scholarships for registration (no lodging) at one of the designation courses. Only one scholarship will be offered per designation (AARE, AMM, BAS, CAS, CES).

Conference: Five (5) scholarships for Conference and Show full registration with meals and four (4) nights lodging. Any additional C&S registration costs (e.g. contests, field trips, etc.) are not included.

Benefit Auction Summit

Two scholarships for registration to the Benefit Auction Summit are available to BAS designation holders who have never attended the Benefit Auction Summit. Potential scholarship applicants are judged on the completeness and quality of their application and their references.  Preference is given to individuals who earn 100% of their income from the auction industry and/or who work full-time in the industry.

Women in the Auction Industry Summit
The Foundation offers a scholarship to this special niche summit that focuses on building leadership, marketing and other skills for women in the auction industry.
