If you are a NAA member in good standing and have either:
a. Been a member for ten consecutive years or more, or
b. Have completed a full three-year term on the NAA Board of Directors,
You are qualified for a Trustee position on the National Auctioneers Foundation Board.
As NAA’s fundraising partner, the National Auctioneers Foundation has raised the necessary funds to not only cover its administrative costs, but also to fund (in the past ten years alone) NAA projects, programs and services in excess of $1.02 Million and has retained an additional $400,000+ in restricted and reserve accounts. The National Auctioneers Foundation is now poised and ready to move closer to its goal of truly endowing the future of NAA. Your passion for our industry, your knowledge, and your experiences are needed to help NAF advance to the next level of support for NAA.
Each year three National Auctioneers Foundation Trustee positions expire and three new Trustees are elected, each to a three-year term on the NAF Board. Consider a leadership position on the 2010-2011 NAF Board of Trustees. Join the other NAF Trustees and Officers as they forge ahead to move the Foundation closer to its goal of becoming a significant source of funds for top-notch research, public relations and educational opportunities for our industry and our members.
To declare your candidacy for the NAF Board of Trustees you must submit the NAF Trustee Candidate Application and Profile form by March 1, 2010. Candidate profiles will be published in Auctioneer magazine and elections will take place at the NAA/NAF annual meeting in July.
If you’d like further information about the duties and responsibilities of the NAF Board and the service requirements, time commitment and expectations of the Trustees please contact Carol Jorgenson, NAF Executive Director at 913-541-8084 ext. 17. or at cjorgenson@auctioneers.org.
